WORLD FIRE BRIGADE has sold over 10 million records…between its members. It all started with a veteran songwriting trio: BRETT SCALLIONS (former front man of the multi-platinum selling band FUEL, & lead vocalist with Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger of The Doors) SEAN DANIELSEN (Smile Empty Soul lead singer/guitarist) & EDDIE WOHL (producer/mixer for Anthrax, Ill Nino, Smile Empty Soul, Jesse Malin, Dry Kill Logic, 36 Crazy Fists, and H2O.) The trio began writing & recording songs with the idea of possibly licensing them out or getting them to other artists, but it evolved into much more when the songs began to smolder. "It got to the point where we looked at each other and said, 'You know, this is too good to give away’,” says Scallions. “We need to do this for ourselves." After YOGI LONICH (Buck Cherry, Chris Cornell) added some smokin’ lead guitar parts, & bass player BRAD STEWART (Shinedown) & drummer KEN SCHALK (Fuel, Candiria) joined the picture, WORLD FIRE BRIGADE became a no holds barred rock n’ fuckin’ roll band. "It's much heavier than anything I ever did with Fuel," Scallions says of WORLD FIRE BRIGADE's sound. "We're doing a lot of stuff in lower tones which is a first for me." And with two front men in the mix, the music is full of strong harmonies & angst driven melodies that perfectly complement the heavy guitar tones. Scallions & Danielsen’s voices mesh together beautifully, at times adding a perfect chaos that will make your blood boil and your toes curl. The recently completed WORLD FIRE BRIGADE debut album will be released in mid/late 2011

Thanks! Saw it on fb too. I hate to say it but I've become one of those people that doesn't use myspace much anymore, except for keeping in touch with bands I like. Personally, I just don't use it much anymore. I still have my 2007 version of Fuel as my background . . . **runs and hides** but it's all good. I loved every version of Fuel. Some day I'll get around to changing it. I have an idea, a collage of all the bands I've shot and met, it's just the doing it part. LOL
